FACIM – Mozambico 2025
Maputo international fair
From August 25 to 31, we took part in a very important event for us: the FACIM trade fair in Mozambique.
FACIM is one of the most important trade fairs in Mozambique, attracting exhibitors and visitors from several continents every year, covering sectors such as: manufacturing, packaging, construction, technology, and agriculture. It is a platform where innovation meets real demand, where practical solutions are sought for fast-growing markets.
What POLYLAYER TECH brought to FACIM
During FACIM, we showcased our best solutions in corrugated polypropylene (corrugated PP), combining:
- lightness and strength,
- chemical and water resistance,
- competitive cost compared to rigid alternatives or complex data-logistics,
- recyclability: PP is fully recyclable, a key point for sustainability-conscious clients.
We presented machinery designed and entirely manufactured in Italy, with particular attention to quality, design, and the reduction of production waste.
For us, Made in Italy is not just a label: it means precision, reliability, customization, and a constant pursuit of excellence. FACIM gave us the chance to let people experience these qualities firsthand, to show that behind every panel, every protection, every package lies a design process cared for down to the smallest detail.
The future we envision after FACIM
Concrete next steps
- Follow-up with partners: contacting those who showed interest to define quotes, logistics terms, and samples.
- Dedicated product development: adapting product lines to the local market (sizes, thicknesses, finishes).
- Local support and distribution: exploring agreements with distributors in Mozambique to ensure presence, assistance, and widespread deliveries.
Long-term vision
We want POLYLAYER TECH to become a point of reference in the African continent as well—not only as a supplier but as a partner bringing culture, technology, and sustainability. Where challenges are great, we want our contribution to be solid, concrete, and virtuous.
POLYLAYER TECH’s participation in FACIM in Mozambique was not just a trade fair experience: it was a journey into new markets, new ideas, new connections. It is tangible proof that Italian creativity, technique, and integrity can make a difference even in the most distant regions. We will continue listening, innovating, and building bridges.
